This is Colin’s Idea!
I am referring to writing about the process of starting up a new location. Colin always has an idea on how to jump start the writing habit.
So, to continue on the last entry, Joel, Valerie and I have this idea of combining the attributes of Bubby Rose’s bakery & Cafe with the fine concept of Bagga Pasta (many folks remember this from the 80’ and early 90’s). We will provide our patrons with great baked goods, fabulous coffees and wonderful pasta, salads and other foods. We will offer a great deal of products for take-home convenience as well as eat-in options.
We are looking forward to a sizable space with a cozy, unique character plus outdoor patio seating.
Here is a pdf file showing our first plan for the space. I will post some updates, eventually revealing the final plan - at least insofar as layout is concerned. design features and materials will not be posted here until after the “reveal” late Spring/early Summer 2011!
Note the clutter of “tables & chairs”… the second draft, we had a long way to go before we could feel settled. See if you can see the “faults”
